Some recent full moon pictures are over on flickr now
Stereo-East (edit), a short film edited from the East End time-lapse films, will be screened on Saturday 10th July as part of Invisible City Symphonies, a video project by Cities in the Dark in London and The Postraum in Berlin. The film will be screened with other city based films, each with brand new soundtracks performed live, click here for details. Later in July the film will possibly be included in a similar event in Berlin.

Final BN3 shoot done! Early start at Brighton Marina overlooking the Asda car park. Maybe not the most picturesque of the films but lots of human activity, concrete architecture and angular lines. Managed to avoid being thrown out of the marina by both Asda and marina security, baked in the middle of the day, and got very cold either end of the day. We also managed to switch the camera off briefly and lock the keys in the van...thankfully no more early starts for a while.
Hopefully we can confirm the final soundtrack artists very soon, and the last set of stills will be online in the next few days.

15|MAY|10

One more BN3 shoot done, a 420 degree pan between about 04:45 until 21:30 down on the Old Steine yesterday. Lots of activity in this film after a couple of quieter, less urban films. It will be a veritable bus spotters paradise! The colours in the latter section of the film are beautiful. As much as I love clear skies and no light pollution, there is something lovely about the colour interactions between street lamps and dusk, there were some glorious shades of turquoise and green, contrasting with orange hues of various lights, in the sky over the Pavilion yesterday evening.
Stills already up on the BN3 page, and the Devil's Dyke stills also posted there. The footage from the Dyke is useable despite the wind, and looks ace - great cloudscapes and changes of light. Details of the screenings on the Soundwaves Festival website soon.
One more shoot to go...

04|MAY|10

Planned to shoot 3 more of the Brighton time-lapse videos over the bank holiday weekend but weather was against us yet again. Managed to get a shoot done at Devil's Dyke between 05:00 and 21:00 yesterday. The forecast was more optomistic than actuality, occasional showers all day and the wind was strong and blustery. What we thought might be a relatively relaxed shoot had us spending almost all day holding an umbrella to keep the wind from battering the camera. Hopefully some stills on the BN3 page later this week...unless it turns out none of the footage is usable due to the wind.
